Treasure Hunt

This is all trash that people in my neighborhood throw away and leave on the sidewalk, so I decided turn it into art work.  As I was taking these pictures I also notice that every piece had a story to tell and for me that is very important as a photographer it brings character and emotion to my work. 











This is proof of what other people consider trash can also be someone else's treasure....

Getting to know you......

     Getting to know you is a project that I did for my final exam, for my photography class, for the spring semester 2012.  Where I went and photograph five different people from five different locations in the Los Angeles area.  I also ask my subjects a series of questions and turn their answers into a short story to bring the images to life. Gavin a cancer, came from Indiana and currently living in Lincoln Heights.  He works for  L.A.
